What defines a city? Is it its buildings, public spaces or people? No Seat At The Table, consisting of four stories, looks into this question by delving into a dystopian future. Each story is told from the perspective of pigeons and inspired by real life experiences of residential displacement in Turkey and the Netherlands. The stories critically investigates gentrification, the housing crisis and the current interpretation of setting priorities and affordability in urban planning. By doing so, it aims to facilitate the conversation on inclusive and sustainable cities for all.
