KENGO KUMA is Japan's most renowned architect. His work uses organic materials to great effect, creating exciting and surprising forms that open up new relationships between nature, technology, and human beings. Here, Kuma has personally chosen forty recent projects and described them in his own words. Organized broadly by building use, this collection of new works--from the seminal Olympic Stadium in Tokyo to a sparkling metro station in Paris and a clay museum in China--reveals Kuma's timely focus on designing spaces for community, connection, and inspiration. With an introduction by GRACE LA
