In preparing this compilation, our aim was not only to make the current tensions and conflicts more comprehensible to our readers and to enable them to see the historical and social realities underlying the events on the surface, but also to help bring the concrete historical tasks of the revolutionary proletariat into conscious awareness. Through the selection of articles included in this compilation, our readers will both learn about the historical development of the current issue and see how events of such worldwide significance are approached. When it comes to scientific truths and revolutionary politics, refusing to yield to the clamour raised by the bourgeois world or to the supposed “public opinion” manufactured by its vast propaganda machines has always been one of the fundamental characteristics of the Leninist approach. The compilation you hold in your hands stands as one of the proofs of a steadfast and resolute stance against the current that sweeps so many along with it.
