Whether it's diamond-encrusted grills, oversized “truck” style chains, bust-down Rolex and Patek Philippe watches or a Tiffany necklace, jewelry is a cornerstone of hip-hop culture. Glittering, blinged-out jewels are the shining statement of a collective identity: unapologetic, charismatic, and street savvy.

Spanning the history of hip-hop jewelry, from the 1980s to today, Ice Cold: A Hip-Hop Jewelry History is a stunning compilation of storytelling and visuals. Hundreds of extraordinary images of every major hip-hop artist on record celebrate how “Ice” has become a proclamation of identity and self-expression.

Starting with Run-DMC’s gold Adidas pendants and Eric B. & Rakim’s ostentatious dookie rope chains and Mercedes medallions, the jewelry then transforms from street style into a booming design culture. The hip-hop tradition of “show up and show out” reaches new heights with artists like Pharrell Williams, Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, and Cardi B, whose over-the-top pieces integrate unique pop culture references, unconventional materials, and enduring collaborations with artists like Takashi Murakami.

Author Vikki Tobak reveals – in great detail – the work of pioneering jewelers such as Tito Caicedo of Manny’s, Eddie Plein, and Jacob the Jeweler as well as newer artisans such as Avianne & Co., Ben Baller/IF & Co., Greg Yuna, Johnny Dang, Eliantte, and many more.

Ice Cold is a treasure trove of dazzling, inspirational style, featuring the work of leading photographers, including Wolfgang Tillmans, Janette Beckman, Jamel Shabazz, Timothy White, Gillian Laub, David LaChapelle, Danny Clinch, Chris Buck, Mike Miller, Phil Knott, Raven B. Varona, Al Pereira, Albert Watson and many more.

A foreword by hip-hop superstar Slick Rick and essays by A$AP Ferg, LL COOL J, Kevin “Coach K’ Lee and Pierre “P” Thomas of Quality Control Music take us on personal journeys into their jewelry universe.

Ice Cold goes beyond the ostentatious bling to reveal a transformative story that is loud and proud.

A richly crafted tribute to the avant-garde artist and designer Sonia Delaunay, whose boundary-breaking approach is echoed in the volume’s interdisciplinarity and its inspired designWinner of the 2025 Dedalus Foundation Exhibition Catalogue AwardNamed one of AIGA's 50 Covers for 2024 Described as “the most significant contribution to Sonia Delaunay studies in a decade,” this catalogue sets a new standard for the study of this pioneering avant-garde artist, designer, and entrepreneur (1885–1979). Eschewing traditional chronological structures to better showcase groundbreaking research unifying the artist’s timeless oeuvre across mediums, this publication demonstrates Delaunay’s innate versatility and willingness to create without material limitation using her unique language of light and color. Textiles, fashion, interiors, book art, and more are highlighted across 26 chapters by leading international scholars to give new insight into Delaunay’s strategies of self-promotion, entrepreneurial endeavors, legacy-building efforts, and vast network of collaborators. These in-depth analyses, including previously underinvestigated material such as film, mosaics, tapestries, and interior design, offer a comprehensive perspective on Delaunay’s lifelong effort to unite art with life by harnessing the energy of technological advancement and the beauty of artisanal craftsmanship. Finally, an appendix provides a unique personal note—an epilogue by Patrick Raynaud, the last living member of Delaunay’s atelier—is a touching firsthand account of the artist’s working practices toward the end of her life. The design, by award-winning book creator Irma Boom, embraces Sonia Delaunay’s own approach to layout and typography, rendering a book that unites past and present to become a work of art in its own right. David Hockney, Nikos Stangos
A special, fiftieth-anniversary edition of David Hockney’s witty, candid and revealing account of his life and work. David Hockney by David Hockney was first published in 1976 and grew out of twenty-five hours of recorded conversation with the artist. A carefully crafted, collaborative memoir, this special full-colour edition marks the fiftieth anniversary of the book’s first publication. Hockney recounts his early years in Bradford, where he was born, grew up and first went to art school; his years at the Royal College of Art in London, during which he had his breakthrough; his sojourn in California, which inspired some of his best-known paintings, drawings and prints; and his subsequent phase in Paris, where an exhibition at the Louvre established him as a ‘continental master’. The book’s fascination lies not only in the fact that the text is entirely Hockney’s own – so that his life-story is given full clarity – but also that it reproduces his paintings, graphic work and drawings. The story, presented more or less chronologically, is informative and humorous, full of descriptions of his work, anecdotes about himself, other artists and friends, his thoughts about art and his ambiguous relationship with other styles. Above all, it is the story of an artist who is ceaselessly striving to improve his craft and to portray the world around him imaginatively.

Hendrick ter Brugghen’s work forms a key chapter in the history of 17th-century Dutch art. A significant follower of Caravaggio, Ter Brugghen was also important in the development of both Rembrandt and Vermeer. Yet until now there has been no accessible survey of his work. This important book provides a comprehensive overview of the artist’s life and work while also offering new interpretations and insights, incorporating current art-historical research. Seaman explores Hendrick ter Brugghen's few known works from before 1620, his embrace – and transformation – of Caravaggio’s intense naturalism before 1625, and his subsequent move towards a more visually pleasing style. The book also outlines the artist’s impact on the work of Rembrandt and Vermeer and the reception of his work in later centuries.

Marwa Al-Sabouni
A journey through the mosque’s history and representation around the world, its role in society and its forms - ancient to contemporary - through the eyes of a young female Syrian architect. The mosque lies at the heart of any Islamic city – a place for group prayer, serenity and spiritual connection. Its exterior serves as a symbol of faith, a landmark and a point of gathering. Since the first mosque was built by the Prophet Mohammad in Medina in 622, mosques have been spaces where worship and social life flourish side by side. In this book, Marwa Al-Sabouni – architect, Muslim, Syrian, woman – interweaves her personal experiences and reflections to bring the reader inside the mosque to understand its spiritual meaning, social significance and enduring cultural value. Though some 3.6 million mosques exist around the world, varying enormously in shape, size and design, we are reminded that thoughtfully designed mosques – like any communal space – can still feel intimate and personal. With the ability to foster community and connection, they take on particular significance in times of division and fragmentation – a fact felt keenly by Al-Sabouni, whose home country witnessed decades of war before entering a new period of hope, however fragile.

A must-have for punk rockers, art historians, and all music and art lovers in between. The definitive collection of Raymond Pettibon’s album covers, uniting art and music in one powerful visual history. Featuring work for Black Flag, Sonic Youth, Foo Fighters, Iggy Pop, Lana Del Rey, and many others, this volume traces the artist’s bold influence on alternative culture from the late 1970s to today. Throughout his decades-long career, Raymond Pettibon has remained deeply engaged with the world around him, whether through biting political satire of American geopolitics or poetic meditations on surfing and baseball. Pettibon’s aesthetic and political sensibilities originated in the punk scene that thrived in Southern California, the artist’s first home, in the late 1970s and 1980s—evidenced in his collaborations with bands such as the Minutemen, Sonic Youth, and Saccharine Trust. Among the most iconic works featured in this collection is Pettibon’s four-column logo design for Black Flag. His distinctive artwork appears on albums for a wide range of legendary musicians, including Iggy Pop, Foo Fighters, and Lana Del Rey, among many others. Nervous Breakdown spotlights the artist’s enduring impact on the music industry, presenting for the first time every record, CD, and cassette cover since 1978 that features his artwork. Published on the occasion of an exhibition at the Wilhelm-Hack-Museum in Ludwigshafen, Germany, this catalogue features more than two hundred works from the Stefan Thull Collection. With essays by Max Dax, Robert Eikmeyer, and Ulrich Loock, and a 1985 Artforum essay by Kim Gordon, the book includes a catalogue raisonné of Pettibon’s album artwork, an essential resource for fans, scholars, and collectors of contemporary art and music history alike.

An exploration and celebration of ikat around the world, brimful of vibrant fabrics, stunning costumes and inspiring detail. In this richly illustrated book, stylist and designer Catherine Legrand explores her enduring fascination with ikat, a distinctive type of fabric woven from resist-dyed thread. Rooted in centuries-old tradition, it remains strikingly contemporary in its visual power. From rare antique French ‘flammé’ textiles to the regions where ikat is still practised today, the book traces the places, processes and people that sustain this demanding technique. It highlights not only the cloth itself but also the expertise behind it: the weavers, dyers and collaborative networks of makers whose knowledge, patience and precision make each piece possible. Informed by the latest textile scholarship yet guided by the author’s own encounters and eye, this book is both homage and investigation – a clear-eyed celebration of ikat and of the human skill that keeps its thread unbroken.

From punk provocateur to celebrity couturier, Vivienne Westwood was one of the most influential artists of recent times. A true original who used clothes to express her ethos, often fusing anti-establishment values with high-end, corseted visuals. As an emerging designer in the seventies, Westwood, together with her then-partner Malcolm McLaren, was a key architect of the anarchic aesthetic known as punk, worn most notably by McLaren's band the Sex Pistols. Safety pins, ripped clothes, visible seams and bondage trousers were made to shock, but also to instigate change; a theme that permeated Westwood's work. From punk, Westwood looked to art and history, drawing inspiration for her Pirate collection and New Romantic outfits of the eighties, before closing out the decade with parodies of the upper classes in her now iconic bustle skirts and 'mini-crini' crinolines. In 1992, she received an OBE for her services to fashion design, topping it up in 2006 with a Damehood. Revered by royalty and rock stars alike, her eponymous label - now overseen by creative director Andreas Kronthaler, Westwood's husband since 1992 - still resonates with celebrity clients worldwide. Fully illustrated throughout, Vivienne Westwood: Provocateur chronicles the celebrated fashion designer's style, life and legacy.

How are contemporary artists responding to the climate crisis? Filipa Ramos takes an original approach to the subject by addressing two parallel strands. She looks firstly at pioneering approaches to ecology by key contemporary artists from different generations and cultural backgrounds working in different art media; and she considers the balance between ecology as theme and ecology as practice, underscoring the imperative for both artists and art institutions to adopt responsible environmental positions in their practice.

This topical and important book discusses the work of artists who have returned to the land; reviews how questions of shared rights and environmental justice are represented in contemporary artistic practice; highlights the renewed importance of performance and time-based media in ecologically themed art; and looks at artists’ and art institutions’ complex relationship to environmental action.

Booker Prize-winning author Ben Okri, in collaboration with artist Rosemary Clunie, offers journeys into the human spirit for our times. Is everyone an artist? Does the condition of the artist apply in some way to all of us? 'There comes a time in the life of every artist when they must decide whether they are happy in jail. They must decide whether to attain freedom and risk the life out there.' The True Artist Breaks Out of Jail combines the fiction, essays and poetry of Booker Prize-winning author Ben Okri with artworks made in collaboration with painter Rosemary Clunie. Extending the possibilities of text and image, Okri and Clunie envision a bold and fresh journey through a world in urgent need of imaginative renewal. As personal freedoms and political rights become increasingly restricted, they call on us to push past imposed limitations – both as creatives and as individuals. Featuring thirty-two paintings, The True Artist Breaks Out of Jail speaks to the creative in all of us, highlighting the importance of art within our lives and encouraging a mindset of originality and freedom. Its narratives and images are a raw response to our times, with subjects ranging from war and climate change to authenticity and truth, to the wounds and wonders of the psyche. The pioneer of performance art and her class With the first appointment of the outstanding performance artist Marina Abramovicto the Pina Bausch Professorship at the Folkwang University of the Arts, the focus in the 2022–23 academic year was placed on transdisciplinarity, artistic daring and social awareness. The project supervised by Abramovic, entitled “Free Interdisciplinary Performance Lab (FIPL),” was realized in a class of around twenty students from the fields of music (classical and jazz, instrumental, vocal and composition), dance, design, photography, (physical) theater and directing. The students developed individual or collective concepts for performances and learned how to create a long-term performative work form in an experience- based process. Through a workshop entitled “Cleaning the House”, they developed a sense of the presence required in performances, including the exploration of their individual physical and mental boundaries, according to a method proposed by Abramovic.

The first instalment of the new Contemporary Masters series — a set of monographs spotlighting some of the most influential artists of recent years — focuses on the mural work of celebrated Swiss painter Nicolas Party. His oeuvre ranges from the intimate to the gigantic, spanning from paintings, sculptures, and pietra dura, to the installations and public murals that are this monograph’s focus. Often commissioned in the context of institutional exhibitions, Party’s mural works are usually removed when the associated show comes to a close. The extensive documentation featured in the book offers a way of revisiting and experience these ephemeral works anew, with newly written texts by the artist about each mural providing intimate access to the thinking that goes into his brightly hued, uncanny universe of fantastical landscapes, characters, and motifs.

Signac’s breathtaking artistry comes fully alive in this luxurious exhibition catalog that explores the artist’s influence on Neo-Impressionism—as a painter of light, visionary theorist, and steadfast advocate.

This richly informed publication offers a comprehensive view of Paul Signac’s artistic legacy and his decisive impact on the development of Neo-Impressionism. Through more than 70 works from over 30 collections, the book traces Signac’s evolution from a young painter inspired by Seurat to a pioneering figure who helped define one of modern painting’s most radical approaches.

It situates Signac within a dynamic network of artists whose shared ideals and innovations shaped the Neo-Impressionist style. Works by Seurat, Cross, Luce, van Rysselberghe, and others— many once held in Signac’s own collection—highlight the spirit of collaboration that sustained the group. Essays by leading scholars examine not only Signac’s artistic innovation but also his roles as theoretician, mentor(?), organizer, and political thinker, offering fresh insights into the movement’s aesthetic and social ambitions.

Drawing from previously unpublished archival material, including Signac’s correspondence and diaries, the book offers a rare glimpse into the personal and professional ties that defined the “Néos.” It also revisits key moments—such as the annual Salon des Indépendants—that helped establish Neo-Impressionism’s avant-garde position. With crisp reproductions and a generous layout, this catalog is both a visual celebration and a thoughtful reappraisal. It affirms Signac’s enduring significance—not just as a painter of shimmering light and color, but as a force who helped reshape the trajectory of modern art.

Frida the woman. Frida the artist. Frida the icon. Fragile and indomitable, she made herself a work of art, celebrating the beauty of imperfection. Hers was an existence made of passion, revolution, brightly coloured clothes, and paintings that mirrored her dances with death and love for life. A life like hers requires splendid images and intense text chronicling its many adventures. From her childhood to the accident, from her discovery of painting and the ties with extraordinary characters such as André Breton, Tina Modotti, Lev Trotsky, to her legendary marriage to Diego Rivera and her enchantment with the Casa Azul. This stunning book is a homage to the human being who became a symbol of emancipation and freedom. A hymn to diversity and joie de vivre, dedicated to all women of the world.

This publication presents photographs shot during the making of Rebel Dabble Babble, a collaboration between Paul McCarthy and his son Damon McCarthy. Rebel Dabble Babble is an installation and video projection work inspired by both Nicholas Ray’s 1955 classic Hollywood film Rebel without a Cause and the rumors attending the off-set relationships between its director and his stars James Dean, Nathalie Wood and Sal Mineo. This densely layered opus expands beyond its references to the 1955 movie to offer a meditation on the archetypes and Oedipal tensions that define family dynamics. In the film, McCarthy and his actors (including Hollywood star James Franco) play hybrids both of Ray’s cinematic characters and the actors who played them. With this mind-bending series of doubles, binaries and inversions, Rebel Dabble Babble presents perversions of interchangeable roles and fetish relationships.

This book explores how Georgia O’Keeffe lived her life steeped in modernism, bringing the same style she developed in her art to her dress, her homes, and her lifestyle. Richly illustrated with images of her art and views of the two homes she designed and furnished in New Mexico, the book also includes never before published photographs of O’Keeffe’s clothes. The author has attributed some of the most exquisite of these garments to O’Keeffe, a skilled seamstress who understood fabric and design, and who has become an icon in today’s fashion world as much for her personal style as for her art. As one of her friends stated, O’Keeffe "never allowed her life to be one thing and her painting another." This fresh and carefully researched study brings O’Keeffe’s style to life, illuminating how this beloved American artist purposefully proclaimed her modernity in the way she dressed and posed for photographers, from Alfred Stieglitz to Bruce Weber. This beautiful book accompanies the first museum exhibition to bring together photographs, clothes, and art to explore O’Keeffe’s unified modernist aesthetic.

This book accompanies the show at the Peabody-Essex Museum, Georgia O’Keeffe: Art, Image, Style.

William Feaver
This volume, with more than 400 reproductions, will be the most comprehensive publication to date on Lucian Freud, covering a span of seventy years and including many works not previously reproduced. The result is a corpus of great works that reveal him to be the premier heir today of Rembrandt, Courbet, and Cézanne. The book includes not only Freud’s paintings but also his sketches, woodcuts, and powerful etchings. While the bulk of his paintings are female nudes, his cityscapes, plant studies, and interiors, executed in his distinctive muted palette and visible brushwork, are all included. Freud, who has lived in London ever since his family left Berlin in 1933 when he was ten, has achieved preeminence through his ruthless perception of the human form. His importance has long been recognized in England, but his present super-celebrity status dates from a retrospective at the Hirshhorn in Washington, D.C., in 1987. William Feaver, painter and for many years art critic for The Observer, provides a unique account of Freud’s preoccupations and achievement. Startling, moving, profoundly entertaining, the book lives up to Freud’s advice to students when getting them to paint self-portraits: “To try and make it the most revealing, telling, and believable object. Something really shameless, you know.”

The long-awaited book from SingleThread, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant, farm, and inn leading a global conversation about seasonality, locality, and sustainability in fine dining.

At SingleThread, each meal tells the story of the day. Each menu, and every dish on it, is designed to reflect that specific moment in time and to showcase the ingredients grown on the SingleThread farm. But the approach taken by Kyle and Katina Connaughton (SingleThread’s chef and farmer co-founders) does not end with a simple commitment to seasonality and locality. Instead, it involves a nuanced, considered approach that balances this celebration of local ingredients with a holistic view of what constitutes good food systems—including the need to support artisans, preserve the expertise developed by generations of specialists, and develop climate-resilient approaches to farming and other forms of food production.

SingleThread offers a deep dive into what truly seasonal cooking looks like and into the mindful approach Kyle and Katina take to every aspect of their work, from their warm hospitality to the meticulous design philosophy behind the restaurant and inn. With stunning photography and intricate illustrations, the book offers a tour of the farm and restaurant while also delving into the team’s unique agricultural methods, the techniques and recipes used in the SingleThread kitchen, the way the farm and kitchen teams coordinate on a daily basis, their philosophy of hospitality, the importance of their relationships with other producers and artisans—and the unique love story that started with two teenagers at a punk show and grew into the partnership that made all of this possible in the first place.

Andrew Moisey
A dynamic prehistory of photography tracing the medium through more than four centuries of Western art The prehistory of photography is often told as a story of science, of a magic arising from the camera obscura and advances in chemistry, but not as a history of art. In this exhilarating and erudite book, Andrew Moisey uses a practicing photographer’s perspective to show how a sense of “being there”—the immediacy, takenness, and embodiment inherent in a photograph—originates in the Western art of everyday life before photography. Moisey argues that photography’s spirit appears in art before its invention—and that its invention sets the standard of first-person subjectivity on which Impressionism and Modernism were raised. Spanning over four centuries from the Renaissance to today, the book shows how pictorial models of the present shift from “world pictures” to embodied, situated encounters before photography’s invention, giving paintings and prints a crucial role in photography’s ancestry for the first time. Moisey then reverses the book’s perspective to reveal how photographic artists in the twentieth century used graphic abstraction to resurrect the early modern “world picture” of life. Drawing on his experiences as both a scholar and a photographer, Moisey grounds his book in art history and his own first-hand experience.

Choosing jewelry is an art—and here, a leading expert sharpens the eye, illuminates the classics, and reveals the pieces that both surprise and endure.

This treasure-box of a book explores the idea of a jewelry wardrobe: a personal, evolving collection shaped not by rules or trends, but by taste, meaning, and daily life. A jewelry wardrobe is not about owning everything; it is about recognizing which pieces stand the test of time, and which feel unmistakably one’s own.

Celebrating jewels that have shaped style across generations—the shimmer of a Bulgari coin necklace, the assured charm of Van Cleef & Arpels’ Alhambra, the saturated glow of Jean Schlumberger’s paillonné enamel, or the quiet authority of a Cartier Tank watch—the book brings together touchstones of adornment that endure, delight, and express individuality.

Illustrated with more than 350 photographs of works by 80 jewelers, the book spans the Victorian era to the present day. Legendary houses such as Cartier and Tiffany appear alongside influential twentieth-century designers including Verdura, Harry Winston, Aldo Cipullo, and Elsa Peretti, as well as exceptional contemporary makers such as Hemmerle, Taffin, and Nicholas Varney.

Organized by accoutrement—from earrings and necklaces to bracelets and watches—and complemented by a curated list of icons and a concise glossary, this elegant and endlessly engaging book is a modern classic for anyone who loves jewelry—and wants to understand it a little more deeply.

This visually stunning investigation of natural and man-made materials will change the way you look at the world around you, while offering hope for the future of our planet.

What does it mean to live in a material world, and how do materials of the past and present hold the keys to our future? This book tackles these questions by focusing on various issues that human beings face and by discussing potential materials-related solutions. Through the lens of intriguing projects by designers, artists, makers, and scientists, it presents a colorful panoply of ideas, technologies, and creative efforts that focus on the earth's most basic elements, while also showing how these elements can be transformed into entirely new materials. It explores, for example, how ancient practices such as dyeing fabric and making glue may hold the secret to renewable and earth-friendly consumer products, as well as how recycling plastics can tackle food waste, and how a type of light metal being developed may one day make air travel less fuel-reliant. This book also investigates the potential of the digital experience, suggesting how this most ephemeral type of matter can be used to improve our world. Eye-catching and provocative, Why Materials Matter serves as both a stimulating catalog of possibilities and a timely manifesto on how to consume, manufacture, and design for a better future.

This luminous boxed set of woodblock prints celebrates the seductive power of the moon in the Edo period of Japanese art.

In Japanese printmaking, the moon appears as a quiet yet powerful presence, shaping atmosphere, marking time, and infusing scenes with emotion and narrative tension. These volumes bring together evocative nocturnal works by beloved artists such as Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Hiroshige, Tsukioka Yoshitoshi, and Kawase Hasui, revealing how a single motif can generate remarkably varied moods—from stillness and contemplation to drama and unease—across different periods and artistic approaches.
Landscapes, city views, and fleeting human encounters are arranged into a flowing visual sequence in which light, shadow, weather, and reflection recur and subtly transform. Select works appear in extended accordion-fold spreads that open outward to reveal expansive compositions, allowing prints to be seen in relation to one another and emphasizing rhythm, scale, and continuity.
Printed on highest quality paper with exceptional attention to color, line, and tonal nuance, the reproductions preserve the delicacy and graphic power of the original woodblock prints. Housed in a slipcase and accompanied by a booklet that provides historical and artistic context, the book offers a visually generous encounter with the moon as one of the most enduring and expressive subjects in Japanese art.

A survey of two icons of Abstract Expressionism that examines their distinct but connected careers and artistic legaciesThe groundbreaking artists Lee Krasner (1908–1984) and Jackson Pollock (1912–1956) profoundly influenced each other as they found their own places at the forefront of the Abstract Expressionism movement. Spanning the full arc of their careers—including the years before they met, their time as a couple, and Krasner’s life after Pollock’s death—this book features more than one hundred vivid paintings and works on paper. Krasner and Pollock: Past Continuous highlights the range and art-historical importance of Krasner’s work, evaluates Pollock’s significance anew, and considers the pair as artistic peers against the backdrop of the postwar United States. Essays revisit key periods in their creative trajectories, from their parallel emergence in the 1940s New York art scene to their later move to Long Island. The authors situate the artists within their historical context and trace important breakthroughs in their practices, such as Pollock’s exploration of the “drip” technique and Krasner’s turn to collage. Personal reflections from twenty-first-century artists attest to Krasner’s and Pollock’s ongoing legacies. For devotees of Krasner and Pollock and for readers encountering them for the first time, this book offers an illuminating portrait of the two artists. de Kooning, Willem

The first study of de Kooning’s works on paper and clay sculpture from his formative sojourns in Italy

The Dutch-American giant of abstraction Willem de Kooning (1904–97) enjoyed two long sojourns in Italy: in the fall of 1959 and in the summer of 1969. These trips profoundly impacted his work—the first generated a significant body of black-and-white works on paper, while the second inspired the artist to experiment with clay—yet they have yet to receive their due scholarly attention. Willem de Kooning and Italy is the first monograph to explore these two chapters in de Kooning’s life and career, as reflected in the development of his work from the end of the ’50s to his last works of the ’80s.
In addition to essays by the two curators and editors, this lavishly illustrated volume includes contributions from the art historians Jeremy Bleeke, Ester Coen, Anna Coliva and Patrick Elliott. A bibliography and a list of exhibitions further enrich the monograph.

Now, nearly thirty years later, he tells the astonishing story of his life with Diana and the tragic week of her death. In childhood, Charles and Diana, the youngest Spencers, were inseparable – secretly calling one another Duch and Carlos. Yet everything changed when Diana married the Prince of Wales, now King Charles III, and overnight became a global icon. Charles saw his older sister serve the world’s marginalized and relish being mother to her treasured sons.
